WE WON TODAY 4-2 (9/30/06) I know, I know it isn't all about winning, but it sure did feel good that our team won our first scrimmage! Dylan was out there giving it his best and scored one goal!! He is absolutely loving being on a team and has taken over being the leader telling them when they are going the wrong way...which happens quite often :-) I am greatly enjoying being "soccer mom" and love seeing Dyl so excited about a sport. They tell the kids to jog to warm up...of course to the kids that means see who can make it first across the field! Here Dylan is giving it his best as he sprints across the field! He has quite the team and as you can see he steps up to get things rolling! Dyl's biggest fan...give her a bag a popcorn and a good game to watch and she is one happy girl! Today's game...Dyl just scored! Thumbs Up Baby!!

The Rennaissance Festival - Sept. 24, 2006

We got to spend a family day at the Maryland Renaissance Festival last Sunday with Grandpa and Grandma Lightfoot and had a blast. Of course mommy forgot the camera, but thankfully Grandpa to the rescue. Here are some pictures that he took so that we could remember the special day and share it with all of you! The prince and princess have arrived! The jousting was a hit with Dylan and Zoe loved the horses. Zoe's best part of the day was swinging in the little playground. Dylan had a blast sliding down the huge wooden slide although he said the hills really got his belly.

Dylan's off to Kindergarten!

I never quite understood as I was growing up how all the grownups thought that time went by so quickly, when to me the days seemed to drag! Now as I am watching my child begin Kindergarten I find myself complaining about how fast time goes by. Dylan is a truly wonderful gift that God has given us and we treasure every day that we have with him! I can't believe my little man is already off to Kindergarten!! Here are a few pictures from the ever important "FIRST DAY"! All smiles after the first day!! SUCCESS!! At least the bus did bring him back after the long first day!! So begins Dylans years of education! Here he is on his way into his first classroom with Mrs. Lingo. I can't believe he is big enough to be doing this already!! So the bus forget Dylan on the first day!! Thank goodness daddy took off for the first day of school and drove him there. Daddy to the rescue!!

Let's get this party started!

Okay...here we go! I pride myself on staying up to date with technology so I thought I should take the next step and become a blogger. This site should provide everybody with the opportunity to check out what is happening with my family. Stay tuned as I work to get it all together!
