Savvy Parenting with The Savvy Source
You may have noticed over there in my sidebar I recently added an animated widget for The Savvy Source. If you haven't visited their site I challenge you to click on the ad over there and go see what all the fuss is about.
The Savvy Source is a website "powered by parents, for parents." The website is overflowing with useful tips to make parenting just a little bit easier for all of us. Whether you are a SAHM, WAHM, or WOHM, with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school age there is something for you. You can meet new friends, join groups that discuss matters important to you, and even create your own Family Journal to share your life with your friends and family.
As a teacher-mom, one of my favorite parts of the site is being able to learn about your child's development. Just by answering a few questions you can learn how your child is developing as far as language skills, math skills, and social skills. After you answer the survey that was designed by a team of experts in the field of early childhood education, you will receive a detailed report of your child that gives insight into how he or she is developing. Based on your child's unique development, you will also be provided a customized Learning Guide to the very best educational books, toys and activities to spark your little one's imagination. Pretty cool, huh?
So take a minute to go check out The Savvy Source by clicking on that cute widget over there and see how it may help you. I'd love to hear what you think about the site, so after you visit come on back and tell me what you liked, or didn't like, about it. Have fun.
