Just Rambling or Being Random

Is there a difference between rambling and randomness?
If you ramble isn't it really because you are just being random?
If something is random and then you talk or write about it, then are you rambling?

Why do I ask, you ask?
I use the tags "ramblings" and "randomness", but when I go to label my post I often confuse myself on which tag is appropriate.

Are they really two separate things? How would you define them?
Do you think I should get rid of one? But, which one?

Maybe I should scratch them both and just use "ponderings"?
Then I could ramble at random things and consider it pondering.

What do you think?
Besides I'm crazy and you can't believe I just posted this, that is!

  3. I think they are different! Like peanut butter and pasta sauce...except if you like those two things together.

(See, what you have there is a random AND a rambling)
