If you are a regular reader then you are probably familiar with my Weight Watcher journey. If not you can click "Weight Watchers" over there in my sidebar to catch up. The highlight of my journey though:
Losing 40+ pounds.
Some days I still can't believe that I can fit my bottom in a size 6-8.
While I have attended some meetings since the beginning of this year in hopes of losing my last 10lb, I lost the 40lb through the Weight Watchers online program. It is so convenient to go online to track what I'm eating and with their database full of food items, pretty much everything I ate was already right there. I typed in what I ate, the points were tracked, and no formula necessary!
However, food isn't the only answer when trying to lose weight and become healthier. While the calories count you also have to be sure to include the "e" word. Yep, you guessed it...exercise!
Weight Watchers realizes the importance of moving and has just launched The Momentum Walk-It Challenge, which encourages members to incorporate more physical activity into their lives. Walking is the perfect way to get moving, burn calories, and tone muscles. It’s an easy way to basically improve your overall health. When you attend meetings or subscribe online you can be a part of this new challenge. You can join a walking team in your area or start one on your own, receive a FREE walking training guide, and even get some trainer tips to keep you motivated.
Oh and the best part...
I am giving away THREE Weight Watchers memberships! You can use the 3-month membership for either the in-person meetings or online program. We can get moving together on the The Momentum Walk-It Challenge.

I love this giveaway! I would walk on the West Orange Trail. It is located in Orange County, FL and is right outside my house. I use it some,but not enough. I am looking for more motivation!!!
I'd love to win. I'll walk on the trails by my home in Morris County, NJ, called Patriots Path with my husband. I have been walking on the treadmill at the gym. I look forward to getting out more as the weather gets nicer.

Great giveaway - I just started walking again after a far too long hiatus ... fortunately my walking buddy was patiently waiting for me to start up again and was ready for me to make up my mind to do it again!! Thank goodness for friends!!
I don't live in the best neighborhood and I use that as an excuse not to walk. BUT I just discovered a new community across the street so sometimes I walk around that neighborhood with my daughter. I need to do it more often though!
I live on an EVIL hill. Walking up and down my hill alone is a great walk!

I need to walk with my mom around her neighborhood. It's kinda hilly....makes for a better workout!
I live just a few blocks from a beautiful paved bike trail that follows the shoreline. I love walking there with my boyfriend and dog.

I have a friend that could walk with me once a week. I have walked in the mall before in the mornings which is nice and air-conditioned as the weather gets hot. I should start that again although outside is nice too around my neighborhood. I need to just make it a habit!

Right now I'd walk at the park next door, sometimes I do. But we're moving next month and I know I'll be walking all over exploring and getting comfortable with the town. Maybe I'll even make a friend there who will want to walk with me.

Oh I love this giveaway. I am on a mission to lose 60 pounds! I suck at exercising and walking is the only thing I enjoy when it comes to working out. I have been going to the high school track by my house.

Oh YES PLEASE!! I'm getting so close to my goal weight and am needing to loose 10 more tough pounds!! I live about 2 min from the American River and there's a great path that runs along the shore. I'd be there, walking that path (with my double jogger and two little buddies!!) Let's do this!!!
It would be so awesome to win this giveaway! I have 20 lbs to lose before my highschool reunion (30yr)at the end of June! This would help so much. I would walk our 13 acres and every trail at the park near our house!
I am at the point where WW wwould probably help me. My "baby" is 6 and instead of losing I've been gaining. I would either walk by myself or with my husband around my neighborhood which takes me up the mountain.
This is an awesome giveaway! Honestly, I would do the Breast Cancer 3 day walk in Boston. It always seemed a little daunting, 3 days of walking...but that's what I would do!

Such a great giveaway, and really really easy. I love walking. I walk a total of five miles everyday, but would like to increase that amount. I still need to loose 25 lbs. I walk at my work on the campus of the University, and on my treadmill at home. I also am wanting to begin hiking in my town on the Parkway trails.
I will walk with my two kids. Pushing that stroller will be an even better workout!

I'd either walk in my neighborhood or in a nearby state forest. I've been thinking about trying WW to get in better shape in time for BlogHer, so this would be great timing.
I have been dieting for the past 3 months with a slight loss (28 lbs). Even though I am still watching what I eat, I am slowly regaining it. I would walk the Delaware beaches, the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach & the trails in and around the local area.

Hi, I've been doing "tag-along" Weight Watchers (somebody else is going to meetings, and I'm following along at home.) I started the second week of January and as of today I've lost 51lbs!! I would so love to be able to go to meetings myself, my pocketbook prohibts it though.
As far as walking, we have a beautiful metropark right across the road from us filled with walking trails, nature trails, beaches, and fun events. My son and I have decided that we are going to walk the nature trails this summer (along with doing some letterboxing.) I can use the exercise, he can use the time away from video games!
