Tagged and Awarded
In an effort to not bore you with all things Mel, I decided to mix the two. The award requires the honoree to list ten honest (and interesting) things about themselves and to pass it along to seven other bloggers. So here are my 10 honest and interesting, with at least 7 for sure to be random, things about me...
1) When we have company over I will often clean downstairs so it looks perfect, but leave my upstairs looking like a bomb went off.
2) I will not wash dishes by hand. Instead I will start a load in the dishwasher, wait till it is finished, then load it back up to wash whatever is left. You can thank my parents for that one because of all the dishes I had to handwash growing up!
3) I was homeschooled from 2nd grade until I graduated high school. It worked for me, but I never once considered homeschooling my own children even though I'm an elementary teacher!
4) I absolutely cannot stand my smile because of my crooked teeth. I would love to have the opportunity to one day straighten them. I'm so jealous of people with straight, pearly whites.
5) When I eat pizza, I like to take off the cheese and wipe off the sauce and then eat the crust. I don't like making pizza without the cheese or sauce though because then it doesn't taste right.
6) At night, I will sometimes fall sleep wearing whatever shirt I wore that day especially if it is a soft cotton shirt.
7) I like to wear my jeans two days in a row because on the 2nd day they fit so much better.
8) When I eat Lucky Charms I eat all the grain pieces first while saving all the marshmallows to eat at the end. When I eat Shredded Wheats, all the pieces have to have the sugar up before I will eat them.
9) I live at the beach and you can find me there pretty much every day in the summer, but I do not swim in the ocean. The waves scare me and I don't like not being able to see my feet or what is swimming around them.
10) I'm a plan maker and when things don't go the way I plan I have a tendency to become very grumpy.
Now it's time to pass on the randomness. I would like to award the Honest Scrap too...

I'm the same with #1, 2, 6 and 7 hee hee!
OH GOSH I will not wash dishes by hand either..Most of the time I don't have dish soap :) I have perfected my smile. I did have braces but my bottom retainer fell out and my bottom teeth are crooked.
And my upstairs is WW3 my basement is WW4 but our common area is good.
We are so much alike:) I need someone who can handle my messy ways in Chicago :P

And I know what you mean about teeth. I have one that is messed up and it always bothered me. As does my big nose LOL
