Five Point Friday - Brownie Sundae
If you didn't already guess from the title of my blog, I love chocolate! However, chocolate and my waistline? Not the bestest of friends.
Since trying to lose weight I've learned a few tricks on how to enjoy some of my favorites without enjoying all the extra points. One of my favorite desserts is a brownie sundae. Now the one that I had while I was visiting relatives, at least 12 points. It had an entire Hershey Bar on the top of the brownie. I kid not. It was worth every bite for the special night, but definitely not doable for a regular dessert. Therefore.
My Weight Watcher Friendly Brownie Sundae
4 points per serving
1) First you make the brownies.
No Pudge Fudge Brownies are only 2 points per serving!

You pour the mix in the bowl and the only other ingredient you add is a container of fat free vanilla yogurt. Mix it up, bake in the oven, and then divide into 12 servings. You would never know that they were fat free brownies from their taste. They are thick, chewy, and most importantly have that chocolately, fudgy, goodness that brownies must have. My kids inhale them when we have them around and
2) Next you scoop the ice cream.

Edy's Slow Churned Vanilla has no sugar added. Rather they use Splenda to sweeten it up. I will admit that it does taste slightly different than regular vanilla, but it still is delicious and a scoop or two compliments the warm brownie perfectly. One serving is a half cup, which you may want to measure just to make sure you stay within the 4 points range.
3) Drip some fat free chocolate syrup over top.
4) ENJOY! Don't worry I'll turn my back while you lick the bowl.
The great thing is you don't have to feel guilty about enjoying your brownie sundae and if you plan your points right can have another one tomorrow!!

6 Thoughts from you all...:
Thank you for sharing this recipe! Have a graet weekend!
Yummy! I need to get some more of those Pudge brownies - thanks for the reminder!
Oh - P.S. If you have a chance, link this up to my Chocolate Friday post. Mr. Linky seems to be working so far!
Thanks so much for your great recipe ideas! Hubby loves No Pudge Fudge and once we have room in the freezer I will buy the Edy's. It is so nice to see others counting points along with us.
I've never loved you more than I do right now!!! Another good chocolate recipe to try out! ;)
mmmm, yeah, that brownie sundae at the restaurant was ridiculous! but so...tasty... :-) Oh, and guess what-- after my birthday I recalculated my points, and they took away another TWO per day! I'm down to 25 now! Ahhh, this is getting tricky. But I lost another pound or two, so I am still motivated to stick with it. ~Lizann
