What I've Learned...

10 Things I've Learned from Motherhood...
  1. The sound of the phone ringing sends a message to your child that they need your attention at that very moment and if they don't get it they are to scream and carry on until you hang up.
  2. A closed door means NOTHING especially if it is on the bathroom. Privacy...what's that?
  3. Every "flesh wound" can be fixed with a hug, kiss, and a few Spongebob/Princess band-aids.
  4. After a child takes a spill, NEVER ask them if they are okay because up until that moment they were, but regardless they are now very hurt and may end up with a permanent disability.
  5. While you pray for some silence, if your children are quiet that is NOT a good thing.
  6. Bribery is not a sign of weakness, but rather of intelligence
  7. A DVD player in the car is worth more than gold when you commute 1 1/2 every day!!
  8. The house may always be messy, but your kids may not always be there to make it that way so use your time wisely!! Play don't clean!!
  9. Don't blink because you will miss something...like your child growing up on you!
  10. Nothing beats hearing "I Love You" from your child. It will put a smile on your face every time!!

  1. I think you hit the nail on the head with those top 10. Especially the quiet is not a good thing. Unless I hear noise, I am worried.
